Ten Things Most People Don't Know About Me

1.  I am in front of a camera every day,  but have serious anxiety around small groups of people.
2.  I LOVE the classics.  I am kind of a book snob and find contemporary authors hard to read.
3.  I am a VERY private person.  I  can talk about work all day, but when it comes to personal stuff, I am super private and trying harder to open up (Yes this blog is like jumping off a cliff).
4.  I cannot look at a mirror unless the lights are off or dimmed (yes even when I get ready in the morning)
5.  I am ALL or NOTHING.  Food, habits, friendships . . . I wish I wasn't like that.
6.  I am incapable of holding a grudge (trust me I've tried).
7.  I would rather have gadgets than shoes or purses
8.  I throw-up when I'm sad
9.  I use to believe anything was possible until I hit 36.
10.  I have NO filter.  I  put my foot in my mouth constantly.  I have a knack of making a compliment sound like an insult.

In the Middle of 40

So here's the deal.  First and foremost . . . I am NOT a blogger.  I do no not know the rules and I may post every day for a week and not again for 3 months.  So . . . you ask yourself (at least I ask myself).  Why?  For whatever reason I have felt impressed for weeks to gather and record my thoughts.  I'm not sure if it is for my daughter, myself, or possibly someone else that may stumble upon it.  However, I can't get it out of my head.  I have been crazy busy and sicker than a dog.  I DO not have the time, but today . . . I made the time.

Who knows what this will be, or who knows where it will lead.  I do not make any promises but I know I that I have learned so much from my past 40 years and have no clue what the next 40 years will bring.  I am somewhere in the middle.  Which seems a fitting title.  I am in the middle of my life, I feel stuck in the middle of so many life decisions and my theme song (I think everyone should have one lol) is "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World.
